I'm looking to buy a wireless remote for a Canon 40d & SPEEDLITE 430 EX II FLASH ; any output on the PocketWizard FlexTT5 Transceiver ? Amazon has one for $ 229.00;however I really didn't want to spend that much.

I LOVE my Phottix Atlas II triggers.

Each is a "transceiver" meaning they can be both a transmitter or a receiver.

No ETTL but very reliable 4 channel and not expensive at 80.00 each or about 150.00 for a pair.

You could give Cowboy Triggering system a try..cheap and fairly reliable...I carry a pair to places I'm not comfortable in...
Less of a loss compared to my Pocket wizards.

I have been using "manual" Yongnuo YN-602s for several years. Very rare to have any kind of problem. I quote manual since these do not allow for eTTL linking with your camera.

I am going to purchase a set of YN-622s soon. These allow for full eTTL syncing with Canon cameras and take advantage of the Canon menu system to drive them. They also have the ability to mount another transmitter on top of the YN-622 for a 602/602 (or other manual wireless transmitter) which could be very useful when you want to provide a constant background light, but vary key and fill light ratios.
