A formal wedding portrait. Used flash from an umbrella and a back flash. A little photoshop to reduce the patio window in the background.

A Formal Wedding Portrait
Background is way too crowded.
I agree that the background is a bit busy, but if the setting has sentimental value for the bride or couple, sometimes that will happen.
Photo is VERY nicely done for that location!
I like it,it's a lovely shot.
Beautiful bride, lovely pose, but to me the upper semi-circular window, the LH side highlight and the empty chair, draw to much attention away from the bride. One other thought maybe the groom or the mom could have been seated in the chair.
Thanks to all for looking. Sometimes one is taken with a setting and misses the obvious until later.

LOL.LOL.LOL.. you are tooooo funny!!
Nice photo Joe and a beautiful bride!!
Joe, please don't get mad at me. You are out of focus. Also, even though you had a problem with the window, you made everything way too dark. Such a beautiful bride and gown and you ruined it with the chair. You already pointed out that hindsight is 20/20 but one thing you should have done was to shoot with the chair and without. Then you would have nixed the chair. I have been there so many times that one would think I should have learned by now.
But you know what? It is still a very nice photo overall even if it is not perfect. At least you took the shot.
