Bridge vs DSLR

Can someone please explain to me the difference between a Bridge camera and a DSLR?

Bridge cameras have a fixed lens. With a DSLR you interchange lenses depending on what you are shooting. Welcome to the Hog!!!

A bridge between point/shoot cameras and DSLRs.
Looks and acts like a DSLR but without interchangeable lens, optical viewfinder etc.
Small(er) sensors to accommodate the megazoom wars.
