What is the best program for building a website on a iMac?
I've heard dreamweaver is good but you should know some html and don't know if it's for pc only. I will need one with a decent amount of space and no free ones that would include posting ads.

Sitegrinder is a good one requiring no HTML knowledge. I used it with Windows and was satisfied with it, but now I am a Mac user and have not used it with my iMac. I assume it will be the same as with Windows. It is expensive, but you can get very good results if using its full potential. Here is a link for the program for Mac:

I must add that Dreamweaver, Sitegrinder or similar programs help you structure the website, but you still may need a "host" to provide the location and to your domain name. There are many hosts. Godaddy is an economic and very popular one. Be careful with some sites that mislead you into additional expenses not included in their devious advertising.
