Same drill........this morning I bought the Photomatix program with the $15 off discount. More dolls in a cabinet.
Is it to harsh? I'm not sure if I'm liking the orange tint to it all.

Looks great, you mentioned the orange tint might try to cut it back a bit. You refering to Photomatix Pro?

Yes, I broke down and bought the program and now have the option to use Photomatix Pro or Photoshop CS6. This image was done in Photomatix Pro.

Actually, you should adjust it to the look you want. Personally I prefer the 'harsh' look.

To me the orange overall color makes it look like a wood carving. :-)

The color is not appealing. Personally I feel that HDR is not usually suitable for flesh tones.

I like your thinking! All photos should be done and tweaked the way the photographer wants. They are the artist.

In this case I agree with you......the flesh colors are not looking good. The whole image is obviously HDR and there is no trying to hide it. The creepy feel is fun for this image in my opinion.

Jeez Brent, I hope these dolls aren't in your bedroom? I'd have to sleep with one eye open:-}

NO WAY! I wouldn't be sleeping at all if they were. They are out in our dining room, locked up!

Yes, Jo........I think "CREEPY" seems to be the word for this one! You have a right to be scared!
