Good job. It's not easy to get a complete focus on the house spider, no. 2, because the abdomen is so globose. It's like trying to get the front and sides of a basketball.
You really nailed the color pattern.
Image #2 = either:
Female Common House Spider (Achaearanea tepidariorum) = higher probability; or
Female Tent Cobweb Weaver (Tidarren sisyphoides) = lower probability.
Achaearanea may be distinguished from the similar Tidarren sisyphoides by the gray striped abdomen with a pattern of chevrons near and above the spinnerets.

Tidarren sisyphoides is generally characterized by a white transverse stripe across the abdomen, and though that stripe may be more difficult to determine from a lateral view, the photo above is so detailed and sharp that if such a stripe were present, a part of it would be recognizable. Also, in T. sisyphoides there is often a longitudinal stripe running down the posterior of the abdomen almost to the spinneretts which is not present in the photo above. In addition, the excessive marbled pattern on the abdomen shown above is more characteristic of A. tepidariorum.
