bugs with milk jug diffuser

just got back from the pond.heres what i got.never shot this bee before (1st 2 pics)

the 1st bee is the new one,it has relly red hair.the 2nd is Campsomeris plumipes according to bugguide

So is the Milk jug scaring less of the creatures than the big diffuser? After exchanging PMs with Martin, I'm constructing another box: It's 5x7 and 3" deep. I'm using white paint for the reflective surface to see if it's softer than the aluminum foil

Nice job on your bees!

i had the sb400 on the shoe,the diffuser slides over the end so only sticks out 1" farther so it was definitely less scarey.the pics were less good too.lol
