First one was shot today, second one this last month I believe and I shared the last one once before, my first artsy fartsy spider shot. Just wanted to share, I made another Minor break into the macro world. I'm now using ISO100 and if you've seen my last couple of post, you will notice the eyes are getting a little cleaner. What I thought was Diffraction at smaller apertures F/22 to F/29 was actually ISO Noise coming thru. I had never tried below ISO320 until this last week. For Higher magnification/above 1:1 it makes a big difference for you pixel counters. Trying to get the cleanest, sharpest clarity has made me a Pixel Peeper, sounds kind of dirty, don't it?? Just thought I share, later.

Thanks for the heads-up concerning ISO & noise. I normally shoot at ISO 400, but will now consider ISO (native) 200. Your spider eyes are looking clean.

Man your getting first rate images with your new setup. They don't need to be better then that. Now you just need to get them to smile and pose. Maybe feed them flies.

Image #3 is an older photo, at ISO 320. The top photo was shot at ISO 100. Your seeing reflection of spanish moss in the center of the spiders eyes. On the side of the eyes is the hair reflection from around his eyes. The spanish moss is fuzzy and if you look close you can see that in the spiders eyes. This one is shot at ISO 100, this made the difference I was looking for.
