Visual field of a typical jumping spider

The visual field of a typical jumping spider is nearly 360-degrees. The spider's two large front eyes provide stereoscopic vision used for hunting, side-facing and rear-facing eyes are basically for defense, providing instant recognition of predator shadows & movement.

Did you know that inside of their head, attached to there 2 large eyes, are cones that go back to a point were the retina or iris is located? On the small end of the cone, there are muscles attached and they move the cone left and right (which moves their sight) without moving there head. I also think they triangulate distance to prey with them.
