More than anything, these are, by comparison, proof that f/stop22 is "JumperMan".
To be sure, I was excited to photograph my first jumper--and he was patient. Just never nailed the focus.
1/80-sec at f/20, Nikkor 105G macro lens wit Raynox add-on, diffused flash. Some cropping...
Hack away....
I believe that you still have yet to photograph your first jumper. This is NOT typical jumper eye arrangement.
But good practice.

Here's typical eye arrangement. From what I understand the two forward Center eyes are the largest with two more smaller eyes set back a little further. Now behind these two smaller eyes you have two more that are even smaller than two eyes in the back. In this arrangement the jumping spider can gauge depth and distance which enables him to successfully pounce onto his prey.

Yeah. Obviously, my spider is not a jumper. So the hunt continues....

The two larger front eyes make for good targets. I can't wait till you find some also.

He's probably picking up some color from the deck railing. Fairly translucent. I could see through some of his parts.
Whatever it is i like it all i got was one dirty jumper so far this year.
I believe this little guy is a Long Legged Sac Spider, but a baby. Great shots!
