Digital Still Camera and it's memory stick.

This AM I found a problem with my Sony Digital Still Camera and Video DSC-H1 Cyber-shot 5.1 MP and it's memory stick.
Yesterday I found the cam would not turn on. But the choice of Edit in the mode dial it shows what is on the stick. That would mean edit the pic.
So I did some reading at about.com and checked the stick. I moved the lock on the back and tried it in the cam. It came on. I locked the stick and it works.
That seems backward. I have used that Memory Stick since I got the Cam. I don't see how I got the lock turned off cause it's difficult to turn off.
Anyway just notifying the masses.

There is NO apostrophe in its. It's is a contraction of two words: it and is.

Contractions have apostrophes
Posessive pronouns have no apostrophes

When did this change from an informative thread to an English lesson. Sue me! I forgot an apostrophe.
I'll just not inform you when I find a particular problem with equipment. You can work it out yourself!

You did not forget it, your writing is correct - but someone jumped in and said you were wrong. You were not wrong.

I don't care anymore. That spelling cracked me up when I first saw it. It is my intention to continue to use it.
Actually I think I mispelled the mispelling of it.

This sentence can be interpreted two ways, so who's to say it is wrong. I think it is shameful that, when someone like you posts advisory information, the first response is a criticism of the manner in which it is written. The person who made that criticism seems to have an affinity for this type of response; this is second such post. I personally appreciate your taking the time to alert us as to this problem. Thank you.
