The Lone Start State depends on a state sales tax with local
jurisdictions collecting additional sales taxes amount and property
taxes to help pay government bills.
Washington.
The Evergreen State remains in the no-income-tax fold thanks
to its voters' rejection in November 2010 of a proposed income
tax on Washington's wealthies residents.

Florida
In the absence of an income tax, the Sunshine State relies on Sales taxes.
Local government cost are covered by property taxes.
toll roads ,tax if you carry out food from a restaurant,
taxes on your phone bill/ cable, a watershed fee for
the ground that your house sits on from the water company,
gas tax at the pump, cigarette tax, you get registration fees
for license and car ownership, i'm probably getting taxed for posting this post ! The legislature want to pass a bills to tax the
Sun and the air we breathe and forcing it citizens to use a mask with a counter breathed.
Taxes for same-sex couples
The answer is not unless they go to Cuba and by take an operation to change their
gender. Where the Demon Government has an Agency to do that.

What about other fees?
I have heard Texas has some road fees and other fees also.
I think the discussion should be about the totality of taxes in a state.

Also, I played this game when I retired and thought about moving form Cal.
The reality is that there is so much more to consider than just taxes.
My wife and I traveled all the western states in our 5th wheel and some are very beautiful
But I do not want to shovel snow in winter so that eliminated quite a few lovely areas.
Taxes are also interesting.
In L.A. County they are now 9%, but we will likely not be making large purchases so that is not too important.
We have no use taxes or special assessments such as we would have paid if we had moved to some areas we liked.
We bought our home long ago and have not moved much so we benefit greatly from Prop. 13 rates, while many areas we liked have rapidly rising property tax rates yearly.
Since I am retired my state taxes are quite low.
I believe the totality of my taxes are as low or lower that some of the no income tax states.

I have also had/have a bunch of medical issues, back etc., that have required some extensive surgeries, so quality medical care is important to me and L.A. has many top university (USC and UCLA) teaching and research hospitals as well as cancer hospitals (which I hope I never need) such as City Of Hope.
I chose the excellent doctors at USC and I know they have saved my life and improved its quality.

There is also another reason, we are 6 hours from Yosemite, 10 hours to Lake Tahoe, 1 1/2 hours to the nude beach north of Ventura where I walk my dog , and so much more.
I think the realtors' term "Location, Location, Location" says it best.
The short of this is, in the end, we chose to stay near L.A. because taxes are not the most important, it is the quality of life.

In the territory of Yosemite is a dam which supplies drinking water and electricity, I listen close comments or return it to its original state or before was build.
Pipiwater is recicling water, in all europe they call in that way to recicling water specially in france and Italy.
On the other hand someting worst, but I still alive thanks God or whatever is over us.
