Thought I would stop by and share some new pics of pieces off my rock pile, hope you see the natural beauty that I see, I used a light box and a Sony point and shoot, and a Nikon D40.

Well they certainly are pretty, you seem to have lots of knowledge too. Great photos by the way. Ever find anything of immense value?

Hi James, I found some nice Sapphires in Thailand with nice value but my favorite was from a government auction a 85ct Topaz

I think the last one is the best! What a beauty! Somebody is gonna have their hands full in a few years.... oh the rocks were pretty too :)

Thanks Lois for your kind words, and I still can't believe my son's a daddy, and I bet your right he'll have his hands full for sure!

Yes it is howie. Back in 1989 we flew down to St Croix in the US Virgin Islands to help rebuild the power lines after hurricane Hugo devastated the island. They flew crews from Massachusets out of Westover Air Force Base.

That had to be an adventure for sure, that's a big bird, hard to imagine these things can fly!
