Got this a few years ago when my makina's meter couldn't be repaired. It measures incident light, reflective readings and flash.
Comes with a carrying case that has never been used, along with the manual and in fact the box. It is in very good condition, with a few slight marks on the front of the case; i suppose from moving in and out of the camera bag, but that doesn't interfere with it's readings. In fact unless one tilts the meter at a right angle to a strong light it is hard to see.
$100 plus shipping.

Photocat, is there a model number for the unit?
SPD100, I purchased a few years ago for $240, so it is a good buy imho :)

The fact that you are in hiding makes me not trust you!
So I will pass on this.
thanks for your quick reply , I never knew about indicating my location I suppose that would be in my profile.
I have been a memeber for awhile and have made many post (not so much selling, but a few) and wasn't aware that my location would be of interest.
Sorry, that this has made me appear untrust worthy, but understand your position.
regards,
ann
I wonder how many other members don't know they are "in hiding." It should not be an option if you really want to "share" on UHH. I hope this default is changed soon.
Well, I bet a lot of folks may not be aware.
I certainly am not "hiding" to be unsharing. Just didn't know about that function.
Perhaps since that seems to be important, when one registers it should be a function that won't move until one makes a choice. Frankly , I don't remember when signing up what was necessary and what wasn't :) Must be old age
This meter has not received very good reviews due to inconsistency and degradation in performance with time.
Though a bit more expensive, it is difficult to beat even the basic Sekonic meters.
When I was using it I had no problems and it was consistency the same as my spot meter.
Since I am no longer doing LF work, it is just sitting in the box, so that is the reason for offering for sale.
I think a message should pop up to the person trying to list something for sale indicating that it's a must to show their location. It would stop some of the untrustworthy messages. But I also think that someone with less that 100 posts should not be allowed to sell here.
Is this Animal Farm where some UHH members are better than others as per some ill-conceived qualifications designed to ferret out potentially inferior members? I didn't know when I signed up that prejudicial treatment was a possibility.
I have no idea why showing a location means anything. I really don't actually live in Columbus, but it is my ZIP code. I'm going to correct it to "Sharon Township", my actual landmass location, lest somebody accuse me of deception. It's actually many times smaller than the Columbus incorporated area so it should be easier to find me, thus raising my honesty quotent.
I also have no idea why the number of posts has any significance other than some artificial status. Some people post, some don't, certainly no indicator of honesty. For some UHH is a social network, for others it is a place to read and learn. Is one of these member types superior to the other? Nor is the quality of the post, number of pictures presented, topic choices, photo choices, technical ability, experience, camera choice, age, nor any other similar participatory metric indicative of a person's character. The last thing UHH needs is the requirement that a member prove themselves to anybody.
The only significant indicators of honesty in a FOR SALE transaction is that the item was described as truthfully as possible and then delivered as described.
