I had a silk parachute, the RZ16
It opened automatically when I jumped by means of a cord
Attached to a strongpoint inside the aircraft,
The cord
Pulled out the parachute and rigging lines as I fell away
In the slipstream
When the parachute was clear, final tie broke at the last point
Of contact with the cord
And I floated away free
Oh, the fearsome experience of jumping from an aircraft
For the very first time
I hoped, I would, with a little luck, land safely in an open pasture
Then the sudden gust of wind
Changed the direction of my fall
Frozen
Encapsulated in the cocoon of time
I began to fall into the abyss
Infinitely deep
Darkest blue
Abyss of your eyes
Under the white dome of the parachute silk
Im still falling
Still falling
