Hello All,
Joined today, the "Ugly Hedgehog" name certainly seems to fit LOL. This is definitely not the prettiest of forums, but there seems to be some good activity here. Anyway, I shoot a lot of macro and other stuff, but mostly macro. ;)
I'm happy to help if anyone has any questions, just let 'em rip.
Jerry
Lovely bug pictures. Yes, you do like macro. I like macro, too.
1 & 2 do not do it for me. Bugs in general do not do it for me. But #3 and 4 are quite good.

Jeeze, Jerry, you get right in there don't ya? LOL
Like the night shot of the cannon. Where was that taken?
I spent some time in Grand Junction and Collbran way back when, it's very pretty country out there. I envy anyone who lives in such nice landscapes.

Washington Artillery Park is located on the bank of the Mississippi River, and in the background you can see Jackson Square. (This is in New Orleans, LA)

Cool - Your second set of pix is (are?) a keeper too. Like the waterfall one, and the kayaker.
They are fabulous, just fabulous. I think the red flower is the weakest of the bunch... by a lot.

You don't think it makes a nice, maybe slightly abstract, red Valentine's Day heart?

Truth? No, but if you like it, that is what counts, isn't it?
Your other work is so marvelous.... stick with it.
jerm, many of your photos are really very good or great. On the flip side you will not get very many comments due to the sheer numbers of photos. If you want comments good or bad, post a smaller amount of photos.
Thanks Rich, not really looking for comments in this thread... it's more of an introduction ("Introduce Yourself" ). With that said, I still welcome any and all comments but I realize it's difficult to comment on 20+ photos at a time.
I have posted a few photos in the Pictures section and I would appreciate comments/critique there.
