My New Co-Author

We recently got a miniature dachshund puppy. She was born on Christmas Day. Happy lives up to her name in every way--a real ball of energy. . .until she wears down. She frequently spends time on the sofa with me while I'm working on a novel, and when I see a good picture opportunity I have to use my iPhone 4 because getting up for the Nikon would destroy the mood. This series is of Happy winding down.

This series is just plain fun, Roger. They almost have an hypnotic effect on me and I find my own eyes closing!

Dachshunds are such high energy and fun dogs, my daughter has two and they are very entertaining. Good pics!

Oh, wow. How much does yours weigh? Happy's father is between 5-6 and her mom closer to 10. But the mini I used to have was a LOT bigger and heavier. Don't recall the specifics, though.
