I would love to be able to print one of these pictures larger, but I'm afraid it needs some help. sharpen? crop? etc. Any thing anyone can do to help would be appreciated. I'd like to make it a Christmas present. Thank you in advance!

I'll try a couple things. The last photo I sharpened, it was actually your first photo. I think it is probably a bit to blurry to look good printed. But, the first two I sharpened just a bit and popped the color a bit. Maybe you'll like them. Cheryl

I hate to say it
But I would shoot the cat again
with a better camera
and with your thoughts on percise focusing in Raw then you can blow it up
I have done the same as you
My cat will sit there long enough to practice the shot.

Its out of focus see the pixelation
the smaller pictures need to stay small
shoot Raw next time with a tri pod for clarity.

I'd just frame that cropped version. Looks great!

The first one is too far gone, don't think there's any program out there to fix that.

The second needs cropping and some kind of a border as previously mentioned.

Thank you everyone! I do have the pictures in raw, so I will use the second picture, cropped as suggested.

And normally I would use a tripod, but I was trying to just be sneaky & get a quick picture.. that's why the focus isn't precise and the color is a little orange. I'm not sure if I'll get another chance, so I was hoping to use these.

I really appreciate everyone input.

Well, I use a Canon 5D ii with a 24-70 2.8 lens.....so I think the camera is fine...its the photographer! Lol

Cosmos, could you post the non cropped original size so that the changes made for you work better? Then whoever works on it places the larger picture as well and you get a great result.

That was supposed to say 'gotta' but auto correct made it footage. :-)

And I hope Cheryl can look at the raw vrs & tell me how she 'popped' the color. I can crop, but I don't know much about how to make other post changes. But I have elements 10, & photomatix & very willing to learn.

Not RAW, they are not accepted here, JPG smallest compression are better.
