The video links to Youtube are not linked but will try copy and paste to see your videos. The starling photo is very nice.
Just watched your Youtube videos and they are very good. The first one of birds is excellent. Enjoy your new camera.

Okay, hope you are happy. Your post just put me over the top and I ordered an SX50. Didn't really need it; already have a point and shoot, a 60D and a 5D. My wife is away for a week and I hope that I receive the SX50 before she returns. That way she'll never know since she doesn't know one camera from a bucket of mud.
Heck, who am I kidding.....when she returns she'll immediately know that I am not totally forthcoming with her (wives are like that). I might as well just call her and fess up and take my pre-verbal abuse over the phone. That way she'll either be calm when she returns or have time to build up a big finger pointing indignation with hands-on-hips and guilt inducing foot patting.
Hope you are happy......I know that I am.

Very nice. What shooting mode and shutter speed did you use on the still shots? What program did you use to do your slide shows?

Hi, i bought a SX50 at the beginning of December, and i think they are a fantastic camera, it cost me about three hundred pounds.
i hope you do not mind me uploading the first and last photos i have taken with it.
Best regards,
Alf.

I use what comes with Windows or that you can download free- "Photo Story 3 for Windows" and for editing video I use "Windows Live Movie Maker". The photos I get with the SX50 have more detail than my Rebel XTi and my Canon Vixia HV 30. But I like to play with time lapse and the Canon Rebel does that as good as I can do. If I remember correctly I used Picasa 3 to create a video a year or so ago maybe I will try it again.

Thank you - not only for a beautiful and moving look at nature, but also for the remembrance of Audie Murphy. Although your video only provided a view of the name in reference to the geographic site, that was sufficient to bring back memories of a gallant soldier whose greatest contribution to the military was his unrelenting drive to make America aware of the trauma we have now come to recognize and treat as PTSD.
