Took these last week in the garden. Please look at the last picture's center how all is in half circles no matter which way you look. I find that awesome, looks just like Terrazzo floors I saw in Italy.

Very nice pictures! In the last picture, even more awesome is that the ratio between the two curves forms the "Golden Ratio". You can check "Fibonacci" series and the "Golden Ratio" in Google. Present in sunflowers, the marine Nautilus and many other places in nature. Lots of information in Google.

The centers of the sunflower have always fascinated me, the circles just seem to move round and round. BUT, your first shot--just WOW. of course bright orange is one of my favorite colors so that makes me biased.

Thank you so much Carlysue, I also have a yellow plant of the same kind but I agree with you, orange is far more striking.
