I'm using my iPhone 4s as a camera more than a phone.
Does anyone know of a good App to control aperture/depth of field?
Nightcap is excellent for shooting in low light. But it has a three second timer.

I haven't come across any kind of app which states that it can control aperture or DOF. Mainly I just assume if Apple wanted us to they would allow us to be able to do that right from the camera in the phone.
I don't think the camera in the phone is capable of having you adjust shutter speed or aperture. There are a couple of apps out there that will allow you to apply a filter/blur in post to get a "out of focus" look desired areas of your images.

Correct-iPhone does it all, adjustments not allowed. At least not yet

I would guess that the sensor on any phone camera is so small as to make controlling DOF almost impossible.
Thank you, Robin. You're right! :-)
Cliff, thank you. Sounds like someone needs to invet such an app - even if its smoke and mirrors. Appreciate your common sense feedback.

Thank you, JR1. I appreciate your feedback. In my own defence, i will say that your group looked open and inviting - as with many of my blog and photo groups. So I just felt as if I was asking a question of FB friends - using the shorthand friends use. You reminded me that I had not introduced myself or signed off appropriately.
Many apologies.
I don't believe the time exposure release on either my Canons or Leicas will fit my trusty iPhone 4s.

Try MonitoriCamera. Let me know how it works.

I think the barks are scary enough without the bites!
Altho the fstop on the iphone is 2.8 with the size of the sensor it works in the reality of f22. That is why the Tilt shift apps are very popular.
If you just go to Itunes and the apps and type in tilt shift several programs will appear that will provide that function after the fact.
Thank you for the suggestion. The only reference I could locate for a
MonitoriCamera was a security camera. Does not
fulfill my need for an iPhone app. Thank you for trying to help. ~ A
