After researching your many kind suggestions, and visiting multiple hardware, auto supply and big box stores looking for the perfect glue, I ended up choosing 3M PLASTIC EMBLEM AND TRIM ADHESIVE.

This morning I was feeling extra brave, so using a pinhead, I applied the glue and used a rubberband to hold the housing in place until it dried. It looks like nothing ever happened AND, great news! - the focus switch still works - Yay! I would have never attempted it without you.... and you saved me $325 (the glue cost $5).:thumbup:

Thank you all. Now I know how to do the most delicate repairs and I have enough leftover glue to fix all your lenses - just send them my way :lol: :lol:
