I haven't tried it but I looked at it for my Galaxy SII and the reviews are pretty bad. I guess the ones for "i" devices (like iPad) are pretty good, just not there for the Androids yet.

TriggerTrap is actually an iPhone/iPod application, but can be run on an iPad; it is restricted to portrait mode and should be run at 2X. Only 99¢; not sure how much the dongles cost at this time. Latest list shows $35 for cable and dongle for my G3. I think I got the app free on a special; there is a free version available.

UPDATE: The app store says both versions are now free.

I looked today, and the app was free. It looked like a pair of cables cost $30, but I don't think that's for me.

I've been using it for a couple of months now, really like it. I've started using the timelapse function and have found it very simple to master.

Nice. It's nice when you find something that actually works. Do you remember any details of number of shots, fps, or duration of the shoot?

Jerry-Take a look at the manual- provides great details on everything it does. Timelapse details are on page 19 of the pdf. It is really quite awesome and length of time lapse is really only limited by your camera memory and the battery power of your camera or phone!

Read about this a couple months ago, dowwnloaded the app, but it wouldn't function without the dongle, so I ordered it via Amazon.com, it took 6 weeks to arrive from Hong Kong, (This was from the TriggerTrap store on Amazon) I actually sent a complaint email that I hadn't received the dongle & cable after all that time, and as luck would have it, it was in my mail box when I got home that afternoon.

Anyway, I just received it last Monday and I haven't had a chance to try it out, but just playing with the app after the dongle was attached, it looks like it will be a lot of fun to play with.
