I've just done my first project with the AVS editing program. Interested in reactions of anybody else. I found it quite good but still with a steep learning curve. It didn't lock as often as my old Magix program did and the handling of files is much smoother. Most of it just involves dragging. Adding sound works well once you're accustomed to the different system. However I found the title feature extremely awkward and I wish it had been possible to enlarge the images in the timeline mode. (You can stretch them but you can't enlarge them.) Maybe I'm still unfamiliar but I found it a pain when the cursor snapped back to the beginning of the project if you made the wrong click. And the remedial features for both audio and video are very limited
