CarHenge In Nebraska

This was one persons answer to the StoneHenge in England. It has several displays as of 1998 when these pictures were taken. Along with the old cars that are kind of like StoneHenge it also has a few sculptures of Dinosaurs and flowers and fish these are pictures that are now 15 years old so it is hard to tell if there has been any changes as I have not been there since 1998. Also these were taken with film in an old Pentax ME Super so I scanned them today so I am not sure of the quality hope that you enjoy a step back in time.

The locals thought they were such an eyesore they looked for some way to make the guy tear them down. Then they found that people would drive out of their way to look and SPEND MONEY the got to love the site - Dave

Well that is the way of the world money money money I live in the Black Hills and I know that in the winter we have only 9 people that live in town and it is quiet but come spring the Bike (Motor) Bikes (Pedal) and the ATV's fishermen bring the town to life then at about 8:00 pm the town goes to sleep till the next day.

I attached a couple I took in 2010, digital capture, with over-processing in Photomatix done on purpose to achieve an effect.

What can I say besides thank you I thunk that it is a neat place to visit and anyone having pictures of Carhenge feel free to post them, the effect that these pictures have is real different that is for sure. So there you have it post all you want on Carhenge and that way we will be able to look at the attraction from several peoples views.
