This is my first posting. I am learning how to use my Nikon D7000 with Nikkor 18-300mm lens. So much to learn. Let me know how I can improve. BTW, these pictures were taken through a window.

Nice shots, all I can recommend is to open the window as you are probably adding light reflection between the window and your lens and they will be sharper. I am just a novice my self but from shooting deer and birds at the feeder pictures I have found I need to open the window to get rid of the (E-glass) coloration. Try that and keep on posting.

but remember, the focus should be on the eyes ( or the closest eye ) of the subject.
The first one is a bit soft and the other two a bit dark.
Keep practicing ! ( I do it in Raleigh, through my window too ! )
