thanks y'all, this one is on a 1/4" dead weed stalk. i see them every where,but now that things are starting to grow they like to sit on green leaves of trees,plants and shrubs

Magnolia Green Jumping spider... http://bugguide.net/node/view/2040 What is cool about this spider is that because their eyes are much more translucent than other jumpers you can see their retinas rotate in their eyes... When their eyes are completely dark they are looking directly at you, when they are green or you see an oval moving around in a green eye they are looking away.
