These guys were hanging around my shop light this morn. so i started shooting before daylight,ss200,iso22,f16,canon 7d 100 2.8 l lens,430 ex11 flash.

Time to experiment with softening your light source, to reduce harsh shadows.

I had a difusser on the flash,next time I'll put the light box on and turn down the flash a bit,thanks.

Probably coming from the light fixture on my shop,that's where all the bugs hang out.

That would be easy enough to temporarily diffuse during photography.
