All very nice. Are the jumpers two views of the same spider? I've still not found one.

Firebrats are very closely related to silverfish and look A LOT like them. However they are brownish, mottled dark grey or yellow in appearance as apposed to the 'silver' sheen that silverfish exhibit. Firebrats are so called because they prefer significantly higher temperatures than silverfish and are thus often found around furnaces, in attics, etc.

I've always put them in the order Thysanura, as do many other specialists, but I see that BugGuide places them in the Order Zygentoma. (Don't get me started on the subject of 'lumpers and splitters'. LOL) (I do accept, however, that it's one of the ways that taxonomists can continue to make a living.)
