Sometimes I'm inside The Box Sometimes I'm Not

Hi All,

Having recently joined, I thought I'd share some more of my work....as you can see, I tend to do my thing most of the time, sometimes it pleases the 'establishment and more often than not, I've been known to be not only ''outside the box'' but in some of my work, the ''box'' isn't even there....
When I photograph and create, I do for selfish reasons, it is to please myself and to bring joy to my heart....when others approve and enjoy my work, it is beyond fulfilling for me...it is an honor and privilege to touch people with my work, ( work it is not, more accurately described as passion ).
Thank you for taking the time....

I want to know how you got that angle of the squirrel, I see a weird face in the 2nd one, tree bark? And I also like the 3rd. All very creative! I like your "style"

Kudos to you for being independent and not following the crowd. I like what you posted especially the squirrel that is a great shot IMO. I try to do my own thing too, sometimes I get to caught up in trying to do what others say is "correct" so then I begin to loose a sense of myself. Thanks for the reminder.

Hi Biker Chic...Thanks so much for feedback, I must tell you , you touched me with your comment, do not ever stop listening to your inner voice and that especially for me is true about my art. Inspiration which means '' inside or within your spirit " is personal and intimate, don't allow anyone or anything to tell you your inspiration is wrong or needs correction. inspiration is NEVER wrong !
Thank you for confirming why I am so passionate about art.
Be Well,

Thanks Lacey Girl, I got the angle for the squirrel when I just happen to be in my backyard with my camera looking to find something interesting to shoot, when I hear above me on the ledge of the roof, some scurrying, I looked up and there he was looking down at me...i got the shot just before he ran off.
The other photo is a composite of two of my images...female Mardi Grau mask with a photo of rust from an old clunker.
Thanks again, I appreciate your input.

My sentiments exactly..You either feel it or you dont,
I became hooked age 16, when I watched a latent image appearing in developing solution in an old mans darkroom.

Very nice set, thanks for posting in this group :-)
