Presidential Food Taster

Saw the news yesterday how "o" wouldn't eat his lobster dinner an some event because "his food taster was not there"...
Now I ask this : Has any other US President employed an official "food taster" ?
I sure as hell wouldn't have the job because I would think that the odds would not be in my favor...

Has any other US President employed an official "food taster" ? I think it comes with the job, not really something or someone that the president hires personally for the job.
