Tad you have some real nice shots of old homes sites and barns I was wondering if it ever crossed your mind to wonder why they are empty are they owned or did the people just up and leave never to return... Maybe Aliens took them in the middle of the nite and they live now on plant X slaves to mutant space men..... Nice picture!!

good coloring. If you drive the byways, you will find many, many abandoned cabins, houses, and barns. It's a testament to the urbanization of the country. The parents died and the kids don't want them. So they keep the land and let the buildings deteriorate. :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

Some very likely events, so many of these old abandoned homes are on US 441 in Ga, NC, and Tenn. Thank you !!

Thank you !!, I always wonder about these places, where did they go? Did they get old and go to live with their children and just leave the house to rot away

It is really sad, at least the way I feel on many occasions, like what circumstances caused this to happen, and where is the family that once lived here
