Woman survives grizzly attack with .25 cal pistol

Best Pro-Gun story I have heard in recent history.

This is a story of self control and marksmanship by a brave, cool-headed woman with a small pistol against a fierce predator.

What is the smallest caliber you trust to protect yourself?

The pistol is the .25 Caliber Beretta Jetfire

Here is her story:

While out hiking in Alberta Canada with my boyfriend we were surprised by a huge grizzly bear charging at us from out of no where.

She must have been protecting her cubs because she was extremely aggressive.

If I had not had my little Beretta Jetfire with me I would not be here today!

Just one shot to my boyfriend's knee cap was all it took. The bear got him easily, and I was able to escape by just walking away at a brisk pace.

"It's one of the best pistols in my collection" she told authorities. "Boyfriends are a dime a dozen, but a good handbag pistol is hard to come by".

Sort of like: A past friend and I were out camping and hiking and all of a sudden a bear came charging at us from across a small hill side. We turned and ran back towards camp. Upon getting there, I dove into the tent and got my sneakers out and started to put them on, and my past friend said that I couldn't out run that bear.I said I know, I just had to out run him. I proved my point that day.

This is why, when camping in the wild, you always bring along someone who is slower than yourself. You don't need to outrun the bear just him or her as it would be.
