This little fellow is--or was--the Twinkie. He died at eight months old of perhaps the nastiest disease a cat can get--Feline Infectious Peritonitis. He was a sweetie, and would have become a handsome adult, but sadly, never got the chance.

It's a beautiful photo and it's so sad to lose a pet and a friend.The hardest part is getting over it but, you never do.

Sad when they pass away at any age, but that young just makes it a bit more painful.

Thanks for the very kind thoughts. Twinkie died some years ago, but as you say, we never really get over the loss.

sorry to hear about your cat....my wife and I had a ragdoll cat that died that also, it was about six months old....
