I looked for the Orb Weaver this morning that had survived the Winter. Well I found the specimen dead, so I did what any Macro-photographer would do: I photographed it. This is a stacked crop of the spider, may she RIP. I said a photographer's prayer, thanked her for her contribution to my learning and then flushed her.

Hope it was natural and not some pin stuck in the buttons for a photo. But I know you would not do that.

Nope, no "spider-cide" was committed. Just found it on it's back & very much dead.
