And Sarge rejoices.
I looked for the Orb Weaver this morning that had survived the Winter. Well I found the specimen dead, so I did what any Macro-photographer would do: I photographed it. This is a stacked crop of the spider, may she RIP. I said a photographer's prayer, thanked her for her contribution to my learning and then flushed her.
Unfortunate.
AR (end transmission).
Hope it was natural and not some pin stuck in the buttons for a photo. But I know you would not do that.
Thanks for the photo of a spider I will not chance to meet.

Nope, no "spider-cide" was committed. Just found it on it's back & very much dead.
God Bless her and may she rest in peace. She contributed much to society and I know added hours of photographing pleasure for you. I looked forward to your updates of her life on UHH and will miss her dearly. My condolences to you.
Now go find more to shoot!
I'm hoping she left eggs.
I'm not cleaning out the webs until I know for sure.
