I was looking for a second body. I have the T2i, and love it. It takes great shots with good glass. I thought about the T3i, or T4i because I knew the controls & I could use the same batteries/battery grip/shutter cable. Then, I started looking at the 60D. Seems like a great camera. I finally ended up with the 7D, because after my last photo trip for migrating eagles, I had "shutter speed envy." 8fps, dual processing for less time lost to "buffering", and many more center focus points to lock onto targets.

I had the 60D and the T3i both and I liked the T3i better. Lower noise at high ISO was the main point. Much lighter. I have small hands and the T3i fit me better. Yes the build quality is not as good as the 60D, but that is mainly the case and not the inner workings.
