These photos were originally posted in the General Section and another member recommended I post them here. I hope it isn't a redundant post. These were taken at Pine Ridge Conservation Center in Wellington FL with a Sony Nex 7 with the 55-210mm Sony E-Mount lens. Some post processing was done with Lightroom.

Yeah, I definitely classify these as close-ups, maybe even TOO close-up for comfort!

I'm a real coward where dangerous animals are concerned, flowers and such are about my limit, and even then I make sure the bees are where I can see 'em..This is a lovely set and much appreciated here..tjp :)

Welcome to the close up group, thanks too your adviser these are definitely in the right place. Beautiful set but #2 is the killer shot for me (no pun intended).

These are beautiful. I like the way you captured the light on their faces but the background is nice and dark. I can't decide between one and two which one I like best.
