With the Konica Minolta 7D in a plastic bag, gusty winds and a bit of a rough ride I managed to come across some of the locals.

Why are Australian birds colored different from North American birds? What camera? I thought the 7D was a Canon.

Hi gwong1, Not sure why our birds have different colours but there is variations here in colour between the north and south of oz.
My camera is Dynax Maxxum 7D Konica Minolta.
I noticed your pelicans seem to be Brown, ours are white with black markings.
Thanks. :)

We have both the white and brown pelicans in Florida, the whites migrate here in the winter and the browns are here year round. Our spoonbill is a roseate, a pink colored bird. Gary
