Could this be caused by the increasing politicization of religion?

The survey is careful to note that their results do not indicate people are becoming less spiritual. They are less inclined to be associated with an organized religious sect.
I personally suspect it's more due to people perceiving religious institutions themselves being less spiritual, and more aligned with financial endeavors. I think people are being "turned off" by the financial enormity of the organized religions, more similar to big corporations.
I see more and more people having their own set of spiritual values and beliefs. Nothing wrong with that.

Bangee, I find it so interesting that you, whom I assume would identify yourself as a Christian, would be so quick to make a value judgment about my faith or lack of simply because I posted an article I thought interesting and relevant.
I'm wondering if you have ever read some of the words of that guy that started a religion, where he said not to judge?
Just wondering?
I think Danilo's post says it best and deserves quoting,
"The survey is careful to note that their results do not indicate people are becoming less spiritual. They are less inclined to be associated with an organized religious sect.
