Not really religious...but this has a lot of truth.
Make me an instrument of your peace,
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy.
Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved, as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive.
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned.
Good words to memorize, religious or not

Thanks for sharing. The world would be a better place if we all lived by these principles regardless of religion.
The final sentence of this prayer, attributed to, but not known for sure, of St. Francis is: "and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life." This is the ultimate promise of our Faith.
(Thanks for sharing this. I say this prayer as part of my daily devotions and strive to live up to its dictums.)
