This bobcat showed up in our neighborhood in broad daylight (overcast) and in city limits. In my excitement the flash was left on and fired now I'm stuck with these eerie eyes.
Stuck with it, maybe... but kinda cool in an eerie kinda way! :)
That happened to me when taking a pic of my sophie recently and it was in a room that was lit! lol Just in time for halloween (mine was)
Easy fix with Photoshop. I had that problem with my Yorkie and got pretty good at making her eyes look natural. I would blackened them completely and add a touch of "highlight" Crop out a lot of wasted space and fix the eyes and you've got a great shot. My avatar of my Yorky had bright green glowing eyes at first. And I barely know Photoshop

If I were you I would say I wanted his eyes to look like that; they are striking and bring attention directly to the bobcat instead of the woods around. Great picture. We had one show up in Mass recently; dog barking at it; cat did not back down. Dog finally left.
Does draw your attention to the subject, which might otherwise be lost in the background.
Go ahead and fix up the eyes but hang on to the original too. Neat photo.

Thanx everyone. Tried to darken really didn't like it. I'll keep the original
One more thing: Good composition. You DIDN'T put the cat in middle of the frame.
I know what you mean about the eyes, I have 5 cats and it happens to me at times. they have very reflective eyes. My advice, keep as is because it is a rare photos. Or, repost here with the pick asking for someone experienced with Photoshop to "fix the eyes please"? I bet within a day, someone will help you out. They may want you to eMail them the image. Just a thought. Cheryl
I saw this pic and it reminded me of this one that I took of my dog Benny. Glow in the dark eyes.
I say keep the eyes that way and call it laser kitty!!!
