Standing on a flyover bridge in Arlington/Falls Church, Virginia watching the bikes come in on Route 66 heading for the Memorial Day ride from the Pentagon to the Wall in DC. Turn up your speakers for a little taste of why they call it "Rolling Thunder!" Yes, they DO shake the ground when they ride by. It's AWESOME to see, hear, and feel. Locals usually wave flags, cheer, and salute our Vets as they ride in. Love it! Hope you do too!

It was on Lee Highway and Washington Blvd. in Arlington, Virginia at around 9:30 a.m. They rally bikes at Patriot Harley Davidson in Fairfax for the "Ride Of The Patriots," shut off traffic on 66 East and give the bikes a police escort to the Pentagon parking lots. From there, the bikes make the run to the The Wall in Washington, D.C. It's an incredible event!

All I can say is WOW!!! Rolling Thunder is AWESOME!!!

my daughter & son-in-law belong to a local
Harley Club (Boozefighters) and they make
this ride with their fellows from the Richmond
area.....they are always amazed at the participation
with this "Ride to the Wall"....they also made
the ride to "Ground Zero" in New York....site of
the Twin Towers and of course 9/11....here's that
ride......it's also a memorial ride to honor those
who lost their lives that day....thought you may
want to be aware of this ride, too!!
