I like your picture but but for me I would have prefered it to be lighter.

Welcome, I like yours but I do see what Mainlanders means by a little more lighting. Just makes your picture pop more.

Thank you for the complement. I reccomend to anyone "National Geographic Complete Photography Guide". It worked wonders for me.

For what it's worth, I am a contrast-y guy, I prefer your photo over the lighter re-do. IMHO

I like how the idea someone gave you about lighting it up, but if it was me I would also crop out the top a little.
