Space Port

It's been a while since I posted something but I went to the Space Port at lunch today and took a few pictures.
The first one is the Rotary Rocket that is it on display there. I found a You Tube Video about it if you are interested in it http://youtu.be/S9LNAGq1TCM
The second is Space Ship One which is a high-altitude research rocket, designed for sub-orbital flights Here's a You Tube on that too. http://youtu.be/FNXahIoXMw8
I know the second picture has it's flaws because it's in a building positioned at a difficult angle. I also had to shoot it through the dirty glass plus it's casting reflections.
I also had to take 4 sets of 3-bracketed exposures, then put each set into Photomatix, and keep my tone-mapped copy's. After doing that I had to stitch them together in my PSE panoramic program.
But I wanted to share because it's just something unique to where I am so I hope you enjoy.

I think they just didn't make good hdr material. Interesting to look at, a marker in time as to where you were, maybe not much more...just my opinion, which my wife says is usually worth about this much as she holds up two fingers firmly pressed together!

OK I can handle that. You are probably right. I do appreciate you taking time to comment though. I don't think it is the best subject either I was just looking for something different. :-D
