Very nice exposure, have you got any details, looks like a wide aperture, the focus is a little soft.
Hi Granpa :) Congratulations on buying this excellent camera. I was in two minds whether to buy a new Bridge camera or a DSLR I chose to buy the latter, but the Panasonic FZ 200 was the one I would have bought. You will find the articulated LCD screen a real plus point and the constant f2.8 also. You have 25 - 600mm zoom, all in all a great little tool for capturing excellent photos in all situations..I hope to see more of your photos, to show me what I'm missing.

Thanks for your information, could you tell me did you use Manual or auto focus with your images.
I use a bridge camera Fuji Finepix S100fs and find manual is best for sharper images.

This camera has a setting for AF Close-up so that is what I used. Still experimenting with different settings.

We are all evolving with our camera's, keep taking images and enjoying.
Can I recommend trying manual focus (MF) and giving it a go; use your + zoom button to get critical focus, I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
I enjoyed your reminders of coming spring.
