Pilliated woodpecker in flight

Today there were two of them in the yard. This one was flying back and forth from suet feeder to tree for me. It was so fun to watch. Tomorrow i will be ready for him with the window open!

These guys put dozens of holes in the trees in front of our house. The holes eventually closed up, and the trees are still there.
