Really interesting photos, thanks for posting Critter-Hunter.
I'll try not to wear out the non-divers, but then I guess they would not be here if they were not interested. Thxs
Your photos made me home sick. I have lived out in the Raja Ampats for several months and will be back again in August.. only for a month's visit this time. Thanks for the shots.
Lucky you , the only place that comes close to Raja is the Solomon Islands.
Do you work on a dive boat with special work Visa ? I travel Indonesia , but can only stay 30 days... had to pay a fine last trip because I was there 31 days
So amazing!!! Beautiful!!
I had a work permit, but had to go to New Guinea once a month anyway. What a hassle. I worked awhile for Max Ammer and for Grand Komodo liveaboards and at their resort...Raja Ampat Dive Resort. I am an instructor.
I often over stayed my visa and had to pay a fine each time...the immigration officer got to know me quite well...he would laugh every time I showed up in his dingy little office in Jaipur.
Now I just work with my husband doing dive charters. We have one going in August if you are interested. A liveaboard. We will be diving the Ampats, sail around to see the leatherback turtles and then into the Cenderwashi Bay to Naberi to see the whale sharks. We have two beds open if you are interested.
Oh my, yes I'm interested, but will be on live aboard in the Galapagos in August. Keep me on your email list and publish trips. I'm back in Solomon's November
Thanks Ms. Bunny-Jean, the underwater world is "amazing" and so are some of the topside pics of the different cultures.

The blue ring octo, and nudibranch photos are terrific. , it must have been a fabulous trip. I will have to put it on my bucket list..I just got back from a week in the Keys Diving, but I can see the difference in water quality in your photos. Thanks for posting these great photos.what set up are you using.
Was shooting D300 last year, have moved to the D7000 currently. Use a 60mm with a +10 Subsee adapter that is hinged and can move in port of the port. Use Tokina 10-17 for the wide angle shots. Ikelite housing with twin 161 strobes and a Light & Motion Sola 1200 focus light for night days and close video.

Thanks for the info, I still use an Epl-1, UFL-2 and a 1200 light and motion. I found the 1200 is really limited for focus and limited video, kind of disappointed in its performance, of the 1200 .I do have a D-7000 I use all the time on land and look forward to getting a UW case. I also have the 11-17 wonderful lens. I can see why the photos are so great with your help and a d-7000. The color of the water in the photos show the clarity and temp . Again enjoyed your shots.Heading for Beneath the Sea show next week
