One of the best explanations I have read in some time--thanks!
thank you from me, too......
Graham, well done- again. Kelby should hire you to co-author his next book. ;)
By the way, what is really helpful is to read the camera settings you used with a photo---this is also what I like about Petersen's book on exposure and lighting
Thanks Graham. Another excellent lesson.

Thank you-you explain things so well.
I'm reading a book by Bryan Peterson, n he recommends shutting in manual mode.
I think I read this same article in another mag.

Well done. As a newby I learn a lot from these tutorials. Thanks for taking the time to do this.
Thanks GrahamS! Anyone who would take his time to give out this quality of information is a true photographer - sharing his experience with those like me who would like to learn more about "Shutter Speed Priority mode." Now I must learn how to automatically respond physically and quickly to take good photos.
Just want to add my "Thanks" to the others. Your tutorial, like the first one, is clear and easy to follow for this novice. The resulting image was superb. Thanks again.
I've been reading all your comments. Please tell me how i can access the other " beginner's guide. I would like to learn more. Thanks, Wilbur.
