Depends on how much you already know. Lots on light painting. Have seen free downloads. Certainly worth looking thru.

Hi Shine, I haven't bought the e-book but have looked at some of the stuff in it that a friend emailed to me. My friend said that there is some interesting ideas in there but didn't think that it was worth the $77 as most of the content could be found on the internet, but from what I have seen it's well put together and techniques are explained well. I'm told that there are many, many pages dealing with light painting as 4dogsken said so if you're not keen on that you might want to think again.

I bought it, you do get a lot more how-to videos than the free access, and at least there's loads of information in one place.I think its ok,not fantastic but ok.I Google top 10 photography e books and have a look there.

All of these posts and no link yet?
Are you Brits trying to keep this to yourselves?
It is a bit expensive @ $77 but interesting.

Don't know. Found it in the " links" section here in the last month or so. Believe the word "issuu" was in the address.

Lot of it is already available in youtube.
You will need Adobe Photoshop or GIMP.

I also bought it and thought some of the info was helpful - not sure it was worth the price though. A lot of time is spent on how to build certain kinds of lights and I wasn't interested in investing the time to do that. Youtube has much of this info.

I purchased the book when it was at half price. I've only glanced at it and a couple of the videos. I think that if I want to get into some of the things he does it will be worth what I paid for it. A lot would depend on where you are in photography and what you want to do.

I had looked at this a couple of times and figured some of the stuff would be fun to do but I was not going to pay the then asking price of (I believe) $90. It did eventually come on sale for around $40 so I took the plunge. It's okay, you get an ebook and access to a website with a whole bunch of videos.

The guy has put a lot of work into it, he needs to polish up his instruction skills in the videos but he gets his point across.

I tried a couple of things which were fun to do but not looked at it in over 7 months. I've written it off as part of my learning curve in photography, explored it, learned a little, had a bit of fun ... moved on.

If you are REALLY into this stuff my advice would be to wait for when the price comes down.
