I don't know what happened. I was driving to the VA Clinic out in Cape Coral and saw a 'Best Buy' on the side of Cleveland Avenue so I stopped in.

Talking to a young girl about my P510 and HX200V and she said they were great but I really should be thinking about a new D3200 or D5200 that would show off my work.

I can't remember much more except when I got back from the VA Clinic, the best buy bag was in my trunk.

Sarge, my walking buddy has very recently acquired the same kit as you (nikon d3200)and as i remember the same lenses. His shots are stunning...they make my olympus bridge camera photos look like box brownie stuff. I can't stand the stupid smirk on his face when he says " what do you think of the shots I e-mailed you?" or "How many pixels has your camera got again?". Its no good I'm going to have to sell the wife's Jewelry (there's £5 to start with)and then get a part time job or rob the bank.... Anything.. just to wipe that smile off his face!!

I'll take a WAG at it.....lets see.....old sarge walks into a camera shop....really....really cute girl shows him a very nice camera...a few bats of the eye lashes and a sweet smile....and now....the sever beating from his wife...LOL.....just a wild azz guess :)

She was cute. But, I was looking at the price for the bundle with $150.00 off the 55-300mm and said

"Wow, maybe the wife will like the savings "

But also liked the reviews and youtube videos I saw on the D3200 also.

Well now that changes everything. Just tell her this story about having a temporary loss of memory. She maybe will feel sorry for you and offer to drive you back to Best Buy so you can return it rather than breaking your fingers.

Might work. Best Buy has changed their return policy to 15 days. Maybe the joy of seeing me after return from Belgium will prevent her from recognizing a new camera until the return date has passed.
